What brings an angler to try his hand at building a fishing rod? Some anglers learn the rod-building basics so they can take old, forgotten rods, and give them new life. Other anglers get into it to create rods customized to their fishing styles and tastes. No matter the draw, rod building can grow into a very satisfying hobby.
