This bass stand, located on the west side of Martha's Vineyard, is similar to the one Colonel Miner fished on the southeast corner of Block Island. White-water boulder fields are magnets for striped bass. When not actively hunting, they set up behind huge rocks to rest and wait for the current to bring them a meal.
