DuraNautic Boats

From the Deluxe and Utility models to the new Jon boats, all the DuraNautics are super-stable, tough, commercial-quality boats.

DuraNautic Utility V

Born in the Hudson River and bred to handle the choppy waters of the Northeast coast, the distinctive seafoam green DuraNautic has earned a reputation for strength, stability, and durability. From the Deluxe and Utility models to the new Jon boats, all the DuraNautics are super-stable, tough, commercial-quality boats. Fishermen and duck hunters love the DuraNautic’s unobstructed ribless interior and its stability in rough water—thanks to its deeper, extra-stiff, two-piece hull, welded seams, and extruded keels.

The 12- to 16-foot Utility V line features a strong, corrosion-resistant stainless steel bow eye, stainless steel fasteners, foam-filled seats for level flotation, and structural bulkheads built under seats to provide strengthened rigidity. Optional console and floorboard kits allow you to customize the Utility V14 and 16 to suit your needs.

Way back in 1978/79 we bought a 13ft. durnautic for the express purpose of picnic trips to our near islands, (Penobscot Bay, Maine). These islands are as close as a 5 minute cruise across the harbor or as far as a 20 minute open water cruise. The boat easily carried the four of us in our family, a malamute and all the ice chests, fishing tackle, beach chairs and other odds & ends for our outing. The landings on these islands range from gravely pebbles to basket ball size rocks. The boat safely did the job and was light enough to haul out of the water so we could explore the island without posting a watch over the boat. Thanks for the great memories and multitude of safe trips in cold Maine waters. —TomC

Hi dear, My friend Richard Faieta on 136 Wilson Road in Nahant,MA gave me his Duranautic 12 which he purchased probably thru your company. He cannot find the receipt for it since it was so long ago, probably 25 years ago and never registered it because it was used on the bay were we live. I live three houses up the street on 148 Wilson Road, Nahant,MA. The only thing I found is a vin number which is *OMC4142L596* would you be able to find out when or what year it was build and if you are able to get a copy of the transaction? Appreciate your help very much, Thank you. Phone 617-650-9070.

Greetings to all. Perhaps someone out there could lend some expertise regarding repair/restoration of an aluminum hull specifically, a Duranautic 16 DN SST. I would truly appreciate any input. Thanks in advance . . . John
