Featured Weighstation: Cherry's Bait and Tackle

Pull into the parking lot of Cherry’s Bait and Tackle at 151 Water St. in Plymouth, MA and you’ll instantly be taken back. In business since 1963, Cherry’s is a one stop bait shop for many locals, including On The Water’s own Patrick Donovan, saying  “You walk in and you instantly feel welcome”. Any bait you need, they have it ready and waiting. Cherry’s isn’t the biggest shop around, but the service is top notch. Owned by now 89 year old Mary Carafoli who has passed the business on to her two daughters Maureen Daly and Anne Carafoli, Cherry’s has been and will continue to be around for all things fishing. Relatively new to the Striper Cup scene, Cherry’s has been doing everything they can to promote the tournament and the magazine business. So, if you’re in the Plymouth area, be sure to stop in and say hi, pick up some bait, and weigh your fish at Cherry’s Bait and Tackle, a true piece of local history.

Cherry’s Bait and Tackle in Plymouth, MA has been in business since 1963 and continues to support our beloved sport.

I found the information I was looking for. I’m hoping to visit the cemetary in 2016. I cannot believe Paul is gone. Always on my mind and in my heart.
