Field Test Favorites: Seeboard Products

After the first full season with my 21-foot center console I decided to look at anti-fatigue mats for a couple reasons. While my boat has a great ride I was still looking for any relief for my back, legs and feet from the shock all boaters know when running in a short chop.  My main reason, however, was to get a better field of vision above the console.  Seeboards filled both my requirements. Seeboards are actually more of a system than a simple mat. Unique fastener cones are mounted to the deck using a removable adhesive.  From there, you can snap in your 7/8-inch thick anti-fatigue mat or you can stack up to three 3-inch thick closed-cell foam pads to increase height and shock relief.  For my boat, one riser pad coupled with the anti-fatigue mat worked out great. I’m much more comfortable running the boat and I get a great view over the console glass.  Seeboards come in sizes to fit behind any console or helm area.
