Raritan Bay Report (Shore Catch Guide Service)

The spring bass fishing up in the Raritan bay continues.

The spring bass fishing up in the Raritan bay continues. Saturday Capt. David had out Mike Sullivan and crew and the guys had a really great day. Fish were caught in the mid 20 to mid 30 lb range all on bait. On Sunday we had out Rocco and crew and the bite was still decent but conditions made it tough to bait fish so Capt. David went up on the troll and was able to put together a respectable catch.

Right now this is the only game in town as the ocean fishing has not started yet. We are hoping things pick up soon outside. Capt. David does have dates open this week and next out of the Raritan Bay area so if you are interested please give us a call.

I live in Northern Vermont and was wondering if the bite is still on in Raritan Bay or have they left to migrate north. Please confirm asap as I am yanking at the bit. Thanks, Dale
