Friday night, we fished about 20 miles east of the inlet with no luck. We were only able to manage 3 blues. None of the boats caught tonight. I think a total of a dozen fish were caught for the entire fleet. Our pool winner was Peter Curtis from Matawan, NJ with a 10 lb blue. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Saturday morning, we fished in and amongst a giant school of bunkers that continued moving. We caught 2-3 lb blues along with some 5-8 lb blues and a 25 lb striper. Our pool winner was Armando Virtuadaza from Leesburg, FL with a 25 lb striper.

Saturday night, we fished out east again tonight. Fishing definitely was a big improvement from last night but still not great. We had a slow pick through most of the night and at times we had shots of 4 and 5 fish on. Our pool winner was Ron Burke from Leesburg, Florida with a 12 lb blue! Hopefully things will continue to pick up through out the week. There were definitely a lot of fish around!

Sunday morning, we picked at fish offshore on good readings but we didn’t catch what we saw. We picked away on all drifts, some were better than others. We ended up with blues ranging 5-8 lbs. Our pool winner was Armando Virtudaza from Pikesville, MD with an 8 lb blue.
