1. Wilmington Canyon – Yellowfin tuna to 60 pounds were taken in the Wilmington this week. Captains reported “window shopping” white marlin, but no hook ups. A bigeye tuna was also reported.
2. Atlantis Canyon – Small yellowfin and big mahi made it worth the run to Atlantis this week. Mahi to 30 pounds were taken, with yellowfin topping out around the same size.
3. East of Chatham – Rod and reel anglers haven’t been doing much catching, but harpoon boats are reportedly getting good numbers of giant bluefin tuna.

I like the information about where tuna are caught. We fish regularly and never post our catch. it is sometimes so random because the fish move with the bait. the Bluefin bite has been resonably steady inshore but are small.
