Largemouth Bass are hitting soft plastic crayfish and creature-style baits around main lake points with structure at Blue Marsh Lake.

The Commission will be stocking the Delayed Harvest Artificial Lures Only section and Section 8 of Tulpehocken Creek on October 3.

The Commission will also be stocking Scotts Run Lake with trout on October 6.

Bucks County – East Branch Perkiomen Creek: PFBC staff plan to stock the creek with trout on October 7.

Neshaminy Creek – Sunfish are taking small jigs with rubber split-tail bodies and earthworms are always reliable bait for the sunfish family. Try minnows or minnow-imitation lures for the Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. The Tyler State Park section of the creek is a great place for families to go for a leisurely morning of fishing. While the thoughts of many people drift from fishing to football, school and the holidays, dedicated anglers know that fish activity picks up as the winter months approach.
