Tioga County

Many of the small lakes across the County are in good shape for fishing now. Small streams are also in great shape for some fall fishing! Come on up, enjoy the fall foliage and some great native/wild trout fishing!

Snyder, Union, Montour, Northumberland Counties

Susquehanna River

Bass are becoming more aggressive as fall continues on. The cool nights and rain will make them even more active in the coming weeks. A few anglers are catching Walleye and seeing them on the Sunbury side of the fabri-dam. The Walleye will bring to “run” soon. Anglers are reminded to review regulations for sizes and creel limits. If water levels continue to drop, fishing will continue to improve.

The fabri-dam will be taken down in the next few days, so if you plan on boating above the area of the dam, remember, water levels will be much lower. Keep an eye out for rocks and woody debris.
