Northeast Offshore Report - August 20, 2026

Recreational bluefin are holding strong south of Montauk while giants and improving white marlin action keep the offshore bite rolling.

The recreational-sized bluefin are dug in like ticks south of Montauk. Giant fishing is good east of the Cape, and white marlin action seems to be improving, with fish showing up inside of the canyons feeding on halfbeaks.
