The Final Northeast Offshore Fishing Report of the 2026 Season is Here!

It’s been a challenging fall offshore, but there are still opportunities for anglers willing to put in the miles. Giant bluefin tuna are showing up around New Jersey as massive schools of adult bunker draw fish close to shore, while Cape Cod continues to produce giant tuna in shorter, less predictable feeding windows. Further offshore, the canyons are seeing some yellowfin action, along with bigeye tuna and swordfish providing opportunities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

This week, Captain Dean from Canyon Runner breaks down the latest offshore conditions, where the fish are moving, and what anglers should be looking for as the season winds down.
