This would be a great addition to my “tool” bag when working schools of Blues or Stripers, from the shore, a boat or my new favorite, a Kayak.
Looks like another great Penn reel. I love the Penn 750 ss series. They have been my work horse reels for many fishing seasons.
This reel would help my fishing a lot.

I’ve used Penn reels and rods for 25yrs,I have a penn74,650ss,and 2 850ss,and a number of Penn slammer rods,and a couple of pro slammer rods,I’ve caught plenty of stripers on them right up to 30 lbs onshore,I swear by them.
Recently retired from the sheriff’s office. Time for my wife and I to spend more time on the water. It would be a great way to start our new next chapter.
I bought my first penn real when
I was a teen it was the Green Penn 704 Spinfisher then soon after that I got a 140 Penn Squidder
Soon after that I got a 930 Penn Levelmatic and a Green Penn Spinfisher 716 I still have all the reel except the 704? till this day I will always have a Penn Reel in my
arsenal and thanks for making such wonderful reels!
To add this to the ever growing supply of tackle that is my life would be cool, busting up some blues to give it a good field test would be on the top of my list

I’ve used penns for 25 yrs. I did buy an avet last yr . Fished it a few trips & it’s been in the box ever sense . I switched back to my penn’s’… I’ll never look back their easy to use very forgiving & last forever . Just take card of them & they’ll never let you down.
Due to medical problems & fighting with disability for 3 yrs now, all I have is the Shakespeare Catch More Series surf & pier. I does what I mostly use it for, bass fishing. But another reel means that I might get another rod for my birthday. Wishful thinking lol. I would have it set up with say a brush hog while other one has spinner or maybe swim bait. I already making plans for if I win lol
So light and such great line capacity. Glad to see the unbeatable HT-100 drag system still in place. A VanStaal for a fraction of the price. Watch out, VS!!!!
Gave my surf rod to my son, We like to fish Plum Island and fort popham area in Maine. I now use my wife’s rod so winning a new Penn reel matched up to a new Pen rod would be a jackpot. Then my wife can get her gear back.My son gave me a subscription to On the Water last Christmas. Best mag yet. I have learned a lot. I will resubscribe. Thanks, you all do such a great job.

Time to give the old 710Z a well earned rest after years of use . A new PENN CLASH would keep the tradition alive .
I love Penn reels! They are great quality reels and you do not have to break the bank in order to purchase them. I have the 704 Z and SS series.
I’m just like the rest of the people wishing for a new penn reel. I own many Spinfisher and Z series reels but a clash Penn would be nice addition . Penn is a producted I trust. If I should win, the reel would be put right to work for my dream of a monster Stripe bass!
