Lake Trout grow to large sizes, feed aggressively, and can be caught ice fishing, fly-fishing, trolling, and jigging. They are widespread in New York and Northern New England, and can even be caught in New Jersey. They are a worthy freshwater target and they swim in some of the most beautiful waters in the Northeast.

In This Episode
Kevin Blinkoff and Jimmy Fee discuss fishing in Western New York, and the two things that make it a must visit destination: the lake trout and the hot wings. Jimmy talks about his Eat, Pray, Love trips to the Niagara River, and Kevin describes growing up fishing around Buffalo, New York. Other topics include, what makes lake trout one of the great freshwater gamefish, all the different places you can catch them, and why you can’t find decent wings outside of buffalo.
