Lightning Encounter (Update)

After a little more searching following my rod-buzzing lightning encounter last week, I found some pictures of fishing rods that had been struck by lightning. Pretty wild.

Looks like I was a couple minutes away from having my 11-foot Lamiglas turned into a custom feather duster with orange wraps.
