Mass Bass Association Announces Passing of John Cherico

It is with great sadness we report that John Cherico passed away on March 25, 2016. John is one of the original members from when the Massachusetts Striped Bass Association started back in 1950. A two-time President of the club, John most recently ran the history booth at the MSBA Expo and was the club historian.

So sad to learn of John’s passing. We fished together over 50 years ago. With the late,
Bill McCarthy on the June Bug with Frank “Sab” Sabatoski. What a wonderful person. RIP JOHN.
