Ocean State Kayak Fishing was started in early 2015 as a way for a handful of fishing buddies to communicate and plan fishing trips. Through word of mouth the group grew quickly in popularity and now includes members from all over New England.
The group now serves as a place for people to find new fishing partners, post photos, ask questions and MUCH more. We have now started a YouTube page with video’s of our fishing trips, reviews and DIY’s. We also have a season long tournament for the largest striped bass. The tournament is open to OSKF members and is free to participate.
The goal of Ocean State Kayak Fishing is to be a one-stop shop for all your kayak fishing information and doesn’t charge a membership fee or any dues from anyone.
Loaded with information from weather and tides to DIY tips and reviews, Ocean State Kayak Fishing is a great resource for beginners, pros and everyone in between.

I highly recommend a trip to Martha’s Vineyard to fish Middle Ground. Not only is it Striper Heaven but it’s also heavy with Taug. And let’s not forget late summer Tuna. They love Skip Jacks!!…… Fair Winds and Bent Rods guys. Talk to my man Tom Adams! He’s The Striper Slayer!!!

Tight lines!
Me and my bro have been avid fresh water bass fisherman. Both have a Jackson big rig. I just went for the first time in Barrington with the kayak to catch some striper. Caught schoolies. You could not wipe the smile off my face. Needless to say look forward to doing it again. How do we get linked up with you guys? The web site is down can’t even join.
