The Post Standard, a Syracuse, New York newspaper, is looking for anglers to Tweet fishing reports from streams throughout central New York on Opening Trout Day, this Friday, April 1. Anglers who agree will have their Twitter reports fed directly into the Post Standard’s Outdoors Blog for all to see. Seems like a pretty cool idea for an event like opening trout day, but I’m not sure it’s something I’d want to ask striped bass surfcasters to do anytime soon.
