Things seemed a little brighter when I woke up at 6:30 this morning (even if it was actually quite a bit darker than the same time on Saturday). If you remembered to “spring ahead” yesterday, then you’ll also be enjoying a new and improved sunset time of around 7 pm, which means, at least for me, nearly 2 full hours of daylight after work to chase around the various freshwater species that are getting more active by the day. I plan on celebrating Daylight Savings Time with an post-work kayak hunt for largemouth bass.
Hurry up and get your gear in order if you haven’t yet, because fishing season is coming up fast.
