Don’t forget the Catch & Release division of the Striper Cup. It’s a great opportunity to win more prizes, and the process is as simple as 1, 2, 3.

First off, you have to catch the fish… over 36-inches of course. Got that done? Good. Okay, now get your tape out, measure that fish from the tip of the snout to the longest part of the tail when pinched and then the thickest part around the fish. Have a scale? Great! Get a weight on it (don’t worry, if you don’t have a scale, use the girth and length to estimate). Got all that now? Get a picture of the fish and send her back to the depths.

Okay, so now what do you do? Well, once you get home from a great day of fishing, log on to OnTheWater.com and completely fill out the Catch & Release Form. You may even want to keep a blank form in the glove box of your car or truck so you can fill it out right away.

All that’s left is to get that form and your picture to the guys at On The Water and you’re entered into a monthly random drawing, a chance at largest C & R fish per month and of course, the Catch & Release Angler of the Year… you can mail it, fax it or email it… whichever is easiest for you.
You can register up to 10 fish in the Catch & Release division and it doesn’t even count against your one fish allowance per week!
