We would like to congratulate the pending Week 1 Striper Cup winners.
Shore Division– Bryan Thayer with a 32-pound 6-ounce fish
Boat Division– Bobby Bowden with a 42-pound 4-ounce fish
Youth Division– Hunter Bartnicki with a 20-pound fish
Weekly adult first place winners will see prizes from Quantum, The Black Dog Tavern, On The Water and Sebile; while youth winners will see a package with prizes from Sebile, West Marine and On The Water.
While participating I do feel that there should be a better method as killing large bass for a weigh in is loss of large breeder females and as we also know that the food value of large fish is questionable. Probably most people do not know what to do with such a huge amt of meat. I will bet that most is wasted!!!!
