The first month of The Striper Cup has come and gone like the wind. Weigh slips are coming in as we marvel at the success of our participants as well as the great success of the newly renovated Catch and Release Division. This year so far has been full of great fishing and participation and we thank all of you who practice Catch and Release.
The Catch and Release division this year features prizes from SoLo Marine and The Black Dog Tavern. Not only will there be a monthly winner for longest fish released, but there will also be a drawing for a second winner each month, giving everyone who submits a catch-and-release fish an additional chance at taking home a prize. . Congratulations to the May Catch and Release winners!
John Howell won the May monthly prize with his 49.5-inch released striper!
Michaela Ruzbasan of Team Amped Up won the drawing for the second catch and release prize with her 39-inch bass.
