The New York and New Jersey Fishing Community was devastated by Sandy, and more than a month later, the superstorm’s effects are still being felt.
There are a number of ways that we can help our fellow fishermen, but this one really struck a chord with me. Partnering with Jersey-based artist Skullboy, BD Outdoors made these wicked bleeding-heart striper T-shirts, the proceeds from which will go to Restore Our Shore, an organization devoted to rebuilding what was lost on the East Coast.
