Mike Cornish scored his first striper of the season from Buzzards Bay.

David McCoubrey nabbed his first keeper striper of the season this week from a beach on the south side of the Cape.

Big bass have arrived in Long Island Sound. This 52-inch, 59-pound striper was caught by Curtis Steers on a live bunker, 3-wayed just outside the Connecticut River.

OTW contributor and fly-fishing author Angelo Peluso shared this photo of a striper caught from an east end Long Island tidal creek.

Fluke season started off strong on Wednesday. This fish was caught aboard the Celtic Quest out of Port Jefferson on May 1.

Dairra Keebler from Mantua brought in to Two Chums B&T a striper weighing 40.5 lbs and measuring 47 1/2 inches long!

The boys from Scranton fishing aboard Parker Petes caught their first ever striped bass over the weekend.

Not all the big drum come from Delaware Bay. Brett Maeder caught this 87-pounder boomer in Little Egg Inlet.

Hunter Bartnicki caught these keeper stripers on May 11.

There were some great catches during the last week of tog season like this 9-pounder taken by Steve O’Connors, Sr. aboard the Karen Ann II on April 27.

Jimmy and Michael weighed in these two monster tog (15 and 16 pounds) at Sea Isle Bait and Tackle during the last week of the tog season.
