What Inspires You?
People fish for many reasons but they all have one thing in common – the love for the sport. What is it that inspires you to wake up and make your way to the water? Is it the beauty of nature? Is it the opportunity to relax in complete solitude? Is it a way to spend time with friends and family? Or, do you enjoy the pure adrenaline from chasing your next personal best? Okuma wants to know what inspires you!
How the contest works:
1) Sit down in front of your phone’s camera, GoPro, or DSLR and let us know what it is that gets you out on the water.
2) Your video should be HD Quality, have clear audio and be between 1 and 3 minutes in length. You can make your video as cool as you want with fishing footage including your monster catches, drone shots and underwater footage. Or, you can make it as simple as you’d like by just sitting in front of the camera. It’s really that easy!
3) The contest kicks off today, August 27th, and will run through September 14th giving you three weeks to come up with your best stuff and to submit your video at Okuma Fishing USA. After that three weeks a panel of Okuma judges will pick the top 5 videos. From September 17th through September 22nd, you will get a chance to vote on the top 3 winners!
Prizes:
Grand Prize: A fishing trip to Southern California for two days of fishing with Team Okuma valued at more than $4,000
Second Prize: $1,000 Okuma Gift Card that you can use to purchase your favorite Okuma products.
Third Place: $500 Okuma Gift Card that you can use towards the purchase Okuma products.
