World Cat’s new 296DC dual console catamaran combines its best-selling 29’ hull with an all-new look and multi-use layout for 2019. The model boasts an overall length of 29’ 1”, and a wide stable beam of 9’ 6”. Available space in the boat is immense, both for seating and storage. One of a catamaran’s greatest benefits is the oversized bow area that seats eight comfortably, and the new cockpit layout features aft-facing softback seats with safety handrails, a 25-gallon live well located underneath the port side seat, and a 125-quart fish box located in the starboard seat box. New port and starboard rod racks with molded-in toe kicks flank the aft cockpit, and the huge onboarding swim platform sports World Cat’s famous dive ladder system – creating one of the widest, safest and most comfortable ways to board and deboard a boat for anyone of any age. The new instrument panel design combined with a sleek lower-profile powder-coated hardtop frame with hand-finished surfboard top complete a svelte new look for this proven offshore cat.
