I have Been using these knives for 40 years and still have them. I started using these especially the 1376 since I was a teenager for personal and limited commercial use and they are still going strong. They are sharp hold an edge fairly well but the beauty is after a few fish a couple of swipes on a steel or fine stone and your ready to go. I have several and have used the 1376 for everything from flounder to huge cod and everything in between.
Can always use a good set of knifes when I offshore fish south of Long Island, N.Y.

Good quality knives with history behind them.
Been happily using Dexter knives for a long time! My collection of them was largely lost along with my camper and most of my salt water fishing gear while stored in the Keys, right in the center of Irma’s path.

These knives have the right amount of carbon , to hold an edge longer . Wonderful knives all a round ,right down to the handle .
I use Dexter to filet everything from flounder to Tuna. I have a second set of Dexter knives which I use everyday in the kitchen to carve my roasts, chicken and prepare vegetables.

I’ve been using the same set of 8″ Dexter fillet knives since the 1980’s. Still going strong, still the best set of knives I’ve ever used. Sharp, no rust and yes, bragging rights when used at the dock. Their distinctive white handle tells everyone you’re serious about your knives. They look and perform great.
Great knifes have a lot off them but never have too many. Visited the factory once great place with good deals !!

What’s the difference between the Dexter knives and the Babba knives? I was all set to buy a babba knife.
Just spent 6 hrs cleaning out two saltwater tackle boxes and one freshwater. Had to throw out a couple of knives. Sure could use some good ones
