Dawn Patrol and Deep Bites Dominate
Week 13 of the Striper Cup tallied more than 10,000 inches of striped bass, with fish averaging 33 inches. Hot, humid weather and flat seas made daytime fishing tough, but anglers who hit the water early or late found success casting topwaters and soft plastics during peak tides. Midday action came mostly on deep-trolled plugs and live bait.
