It’s officially summer, and while stripers are still on the move, we’re seeing some fish begin to settle into places where they’ll stick around for a while.

Maryland/Chesapeake Bay Striper Fishing Report
Waters are warming up and the striper fishing is cooling off. Action is limited to early mornings around Ocean City, and in the Bay, anglers are turning to live spot, soft crabs, and other baits to catch stripers around the channels.
New Jersey Striper Fishing Report
Resident stripers up to the 30-inch range are holding in the southern New Jersey bays and along the beaches. In the Northern half of the state, fish to 35 inches were reported on the beaches and in the rivers, but the big school of large fish appears to have moved north.
New York Striper Report
A big body of stripers moved into Long Island Sound on the full moon and is still feeding hard. While good fish continue to come from the western Sound, the best action is moving east. Montauk has a big body of large stripers, and there are big fish spread along the South Shore, though it seems the best action has been to the east.
Connecticut/Rhode Island Striper Report
Eastern Long Island Sound is loaded with big fish, in fact good reports of bass spread from the surf to the reefs came in from Norwalk to New London this week.
The fishing is red hot across Rhode Island, with large fish taking up residence on the reefs. Block Island is also loaded with large bass.
Cape Cod/Massachusetts Striper Report
Some good fish moved along the backside beaches of the Cape this week, while Monomoy and Cape Cod Bay continue to hold good numbers.
Big bass have pushed into Boston Harbor, and the North Shore continues to see good fish settle in.
New Hampshire/Maine Striper Report
It’s setting up to be another epic striper season in Maine and New Hampshire, with big schools of big fish moving in for the summer.
