The fishing world is full of “colorful” names for its colors. For striped bass fishermen there’s “firetiger,” “blurple,” and “chicken scratch, and for big boat offshore anglers, among others, there’s “Fighting Lady Yellow.”
This soft shade of yellow originated as a custom color for an iconic boat named, you guessed it, Fighting Lady, and became extremely popular to the point that it’s considered a classic today.

The only downside is when my daughter controls the playlist, and suddenly we’re hearing Taylor Swift songs than anyone ought ever to hear while on the ice.
