Ice-Fishing for Trout, Salmon and Northern Pike | S2 E02

For one episode, On The Water turns into “On The Ice” as the crew dusts off the tip-ups for a day of ice-fishing. First up, we walk onto Stockbridge Bowl in Massachusetts, where trout and salmon are willing to take live shiners just as fast as we can send them down. Then it’s on to northern pike in Woods Pond on the Housatonic River, where the crew pins large baits, both dead and alive, to hooks sporting wire leaders.
