Join Chris Megan and Jimmy Fee as they set sail aboard the Skeeter for an exciting day of striped bass fishing at the beautiful Monomoy Rips in early July.

There are a few fishing spots throughout the Northeast that attract and hold striped bass throughout the entire season. The Monomoy Rips is one of them. The confluence of cold waters from the backside of Cape Cod and the warm waters of Nantucket Sound keep conditions at Monomoy favorable for striped bass, and the baitfish they eat, from Late May into November. On this trip, Jimmy Fee and Chris Megan hit the rips in early July, just after a fresh school of migratory fish has arrived. The bass are abundant, and hungry, and the rips offer the perfect opportunity for light tackle and topwater fishing.
