In this week’s striper migration report, Assistant Editor Matt Haeffner dives into the influx of sand eels from Long Island to Cape Cod Bay, herring-fueled cow bass in Boston and hickory shad showing up on Massachusetts’ North Shore. Water temperatures dipped slightly across most of the striper coast this week, and bass have almost finished filing out of the Hudson where they’re met with bunker pods off of northern New Jersey and Long Island.
