Since it opened in 1947, Red Top has been a staple in the Cape Cod fishing community, so I figured: what better place to get the scoop on the bite in Buzzards Bay as the fish migrate north through the canal?
AJ and I speak about the striper migration patterns thus far, the presence of bait in Buzzards Bay and some productive lures for fishing the Cape Cod Canal during the late spring and early summer months. With June around the corner, and the full moon tide having just passed, anglers around the Cape and Islands are now experiencing a push of larger, 30- to 40-pound bass. Watch the full video above!
