My old Minn Kota was repaired many times, not because it is not good, but because it way too good and solid and I pushed it many times over its limits.

Just be aware that the GPS could go out at any time and you can quickly drift onto rocks before you even realize it. It has happened to me several times as I have the same motor.

I have a rip tide on one of my boats and it works very well. I would like to put one on another boat, and the Hummingbird will make a complete fishing pacjage

Will this work with garmin products or just humming bird?

Nice intro to the spot lock feature. The test conditions were really well chosen. The video makes clear both the amount of current and the boat’s position to the rocks, nicely done!

Knowing the boat specs and the motor thrust/voltage would have helped fill out the picture. Guessing that the motor was 80pounds / 24volts or 112pounds / 36volts

I am wondering if my 2000 Hydra Sport, weighing in around 7500 pounds, is too heavy for Spot-Lock fishing. Seems a bit “chubby” according to motor specs I have seen.

I have a 2016 23-9 foot SeaPro center console. Wondering which trolling motor to get and the type of batteries to use
I live on Florida and fish in salt water. I like the spot lock features. How to mount it.

I have a Minn Kota 24v 60″ iPilot Trolling Motor S172MK00527 with two 12 volt batteries. I was fishing Estero Bay in Florida this morning. There was a nice outgoing tide, but I don’t think anything like the commotion in your video. I hit the anchor image on the iPilot remote and it shows as anchored. I just kept getting swept with the current. How strong a current can the trolling motor counter? Comments? P.S. Love the Boston accents. I’m from Providence originally.
