Tuna fishing is a little slow out of OCMD at the moment, with some yellowfin and bluefin being caught, but the swordfishing is excellent, day and night, and there are still a few marlin being caught.
New Jersey/New York
Anglers running and gunning and bait fishing on New Jersey’s inshore and midshore grounds are finding 60-inch and better bluefin. Last fall brought excellent bluefin action to New Jersey, and anglers are hoping for a repeat.
Giants are being caught off Montauk, and Hudson Canyon is chock-full of yellowfin.

Veatch Canyon was as good as it gets this past week with yellowfin, swordfish, some bigeye. Atlantis had some action, but not quite as much. Giant tuna fishermen have had great luck pulling tuna off of draggers as the fish follow them picking up the scraps.
